What You Need To Bring/Carry

1. Binoculars (imperative)
2. Flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries
3. Sleeping bag
4. Sheets
5. Day pack
6. Long pants and long-sleeved shirts (thick and baggy fabric against mosquitoes)
7. T-shirts
8. Shorts/Bathing suit
9. Towel
10. Sweater or light jacket
11. 1 pair each of hiking boots, light
12. Shoes, and sandals
13. Long cotton socks
14. Rain gear
15. Sun hat, sunglasses, sun block
16. Insect repellent (with at least 25% 'deet') and after bite
17. Toilet-paper
18. Plastic bags (to keep everything dry)
19. Water bottle (with water for the bus ride into Manu)
20. Copy of a valid passport
21. Copy of yellow fever and tetanus vaccinations
22. Money for soft drinks or beers and handicrafts at the Boca Manu landings strip.
