ITINERARY OF BIKE TOUR IN THE SACRED VALLEY
At 7AM we pick up from your hotel and 30 minutes travel by our own private jeep to Abra Ccoroa on 3600M, here is the begin point for our downhill - cross country mountain biking into the Sacred valley of the Incas. Safety orientation regarding all the gear of our bikes, the protective gears, and description of the route. From here we will descent on nice asphalt road (beginners) or riding in the single trucks for experience bikers.
In Pisaq (2970M) it is possible to do a short hike to visit the archaeological remains of the Incas time, visit the Andean market and continue biking along the greenness sacred valley on the right bank of the river connecting to Qoya, Lamay, Calca, Urubamba (2880M) and Ollantaytambo (2850M) riding on asphalt road without traffic and getting wonderful views of terracing, colony churches and also, people working the mother earth.
After 4 to 5 hours pedalling 33mi (52KM) we will be in Ollantaytambo, have lunch and travel back to Cusco arriving at 3PM to 4PM in your hotel and end of service.

Group Service includes to join up to 6 participants per each bike guide - This tour also includes to share a public bus service between Cusco and the trailhead
Booking PRIVATE SERVICE you will have full time supporting transport in case you decide no continue biking - The PRIVATE SERVICE also includes full flexibility at depart or at the end of the trip - To enjoy more this trip we recommend to book this type of service.
RAIN SEASON
December to March. Some days are with blue sky permiting to cycle this zone - During the raining season we recommend to depart as early as possible to end the trip before rain start in the Sacred valley of the Incas.
BEST TIME FOR CYCLE
After rain season (April to June) the mountains are completely covered with snow and the slops are cover with new vegetation making more nice for pictures.
ADVICE FOR BIKERS
Normal physical conditions and summer clothes, bikers require minimum of acclimatization over 3000m. One day before all the bikers will have meeting with the mountain bike guide at our office or in the hotel, who will give a BRIEFING about this bike trip and also you can check the quality of bikes and gear will be used on this trip.
